Harvey’s legal journey began with a deep commitment to academic excellence.
After earning his LLB and LLM at the London School of Economics (LSE), he was appointed as the personal Research Assistant to Professor K.W. Wedderburn, one of the most influential figures in UK company and employment law.
In this role, Harvey contributed directly to the research and development of the standard legal texts that have trained generations of solicitors, including Gower on Company Law and Sutton & Shannon on the Law of Contract. This foundational experience instilled a meticulous approach to legal problem-solving that he still applies to every client matter today.

Harvey is a solicitor who understands the “other side” of the desk. In addition to his legal practice, he has served as a Director for two AIM-listed residential property companies and a fully listed retail fashion group.
Having managed property portfolios exceeding £4 billion in value and overseen the legal affairs for publicly traded groups, Harvey provides advice that is not just legally sound, but commercially viable. He understands that for a business owner, a legal “suggestion” is only useful if it leads to a practical solution that supports the success of the enterprise.

Beyond his formal legal work, Harvey is passionate about the growth of the UK’s entrepreneurial landscape. He serves as a mentor to start-ups and business innovators, both domestically and those arriving from overseas.
Drawing on his experience as a panel member for professional funding events (analogous to the “Dragons’ Den” format), Harvey helps entrepreneurs analytically review their business plans, scale their activities, and secure the necessary legal and visa frameworks to thrive in the UK market.
